Fresh off acclaimed releases on Dark Entries Records and Nervous, multi-hyphenate Five makes his Chinotto debut with a silky summer single, “Work and Life.”

You may know Five from his ongoing collab with Vin Sol (Triple Five Sol), his DJ duo with Bouffant Bouffant (Babygirl), his party girl antics at EW, or his sets at all the finest queer parties on both US coasts and in between. This self-described “New Orleans swamp troll living in San Francisco” has solo originals out on the Soft Touch Express compilation that we loved, so we’re delighted to welcome him to Chinotto. Tarocco Singles Club No. 10 also marks our halfway point through the major arcana of the Tarocco Singles Club with a first: the original on the A side, a remix on the B side. For that, label founder Whitney Weiss (Nervous, Cómeme, Maximum Airtime, Sorry, Major) applies a light touch and lots of vocal samples for a re-work.

Out June 5th digitally and on limited-edition red and yellow marbled flambeaux vinyl. Listeners who buy the record get a bonus track from Five, Bell Box, which won’t be on sale or streaming.
