Paris, France’s Jérémy Delvila steps up to deliver the eleventh release on Jolene Records, comprised of three original cuts and a remix from the label’s own Danny Parton. Jérémy Delvila returns with a new collection of works that further cements his position as a refined voice in contemporary House music. Known for his warm, groove-driven productions that draw from Disco, Funk and classic House influences, Delvila presents a release that feels both timeless and finely tuned for the modern dancefloor. The EP captures Jolene Records’ signature feel-good French touch energy, paired with an understated elegance that continues to define the label’s growing catalogue. Opening the release is ‘Back In The Groove’, a funk-infused, sample-heavy House jam fuelled by choppy vocal chants, sax lines, guitar licks and wandering keys, all floating atop a crisp, shuffled drum groove. ‘Stand Up And Be You’ follows, leaning into deeper territory with airy, sweeping synth lines, twitchy acid notes, jazzy keys and a disco-driven rhythm section. Next comes the original mix of ‘Without You’, built around organic percussion, loopy piano licks, oscillating resonant stabs, vocal lines and dusty drums that dynamically evolve and unfold throughout. Danny Parton’s remix then closes the release, reshaping the original with raw drum breaks, intricately processed fragments and his own signature dynamic flair.
