Diversity has always been and remains the driving force behind their creativity. With “Souls Decay,” Kevin Over and Frag Maddin present a split EP releasing on Human Machine Wisdom on February 13th 2026, one day before Valentine’s Day.
The release marks over a decade of enduring friendship, artistic dialogue, and shared vision between the two artists, a symbolic gesture perfectly aligned with the label’s milestone catalog number. The two artists first met in 2012 through Boj Angler, founder of JANX Records. From that moment on, mutual admiration shaped a connection that steadily grew deeper. Long nights filled with musical exchange and philosophical discussions about humanity, existence, the music industry and much more laid the foundation for a rare artistic bond.
Over the years, Kevin Over and Frag Maddin released music on the respected labels including Madhouse Records and Rough Recordings, contributed remixes for one another, and shared stages whenever possible. Yet their connection was never limited to functional, four-to-the-floor club music. As devoted vinyl collectors, both artists explore a wide spectrum of genres, each guided by individual taste and curiosity. This openness eventually led them to step back from the club context for a while, allowing space for new musical paths and personal growth with success. Diversity was not just an influence, it became their creative foundation.
It was only a matter of time before both artists felt the call of club music again, but this time on a different level of quality and intention. Timeless music has always been, and still is, the highest principle of their work. Releasing one day before Valentine’s Day, “Souls Decay” stands as a symbolic gift to their friendship, to music, and to the world. A statement of connection, maturity, and art beyond trends.
