Bruno Roth presents his new album ‘Es Pou Sant’ via his own Cas Gayati imprint mid-August, comprised of seven original compositions from the Ibizan artist. Ibiza-born producer Bruno Roth returns with ‘Es Pou Sant’, a deeply personal new album named after the family home where he was raised on the island. Drawing inspiration from the formative sounds that shaped his musical identity, the LP pays homage to the timeless grooves and soulful spirit of influential labels such as Soulfuric, Swing City, Nervous and Salted Music. Blending classic house sensibilities with subtle contemporary touches, the seven-track collection serves as both a reflection on Roth’s beginnings and a celebration of the sounds that continue to inspire his artistic journey. Opening the release, ‘Army Of Love’ sets the tone with dubbed-out chords, twitchy resonant synth flutters, choppy square-wave bass stabs and low-slung, crunchy drums, all elevated by rich vocal stylings. The title track, ‘Es Pou Sant’, leans into Bruno’s soul-infused House aesthetic through a wandering bass groove, organic rhythms and an infectious blend of funk-laden keys. ‘Inland Dream’ shifts towards Disco House territory, pairing choppy guitar samples with buoyant basslines and shuffling drums that lock together effortlessly, while ‘Jazzy Girl’ eases the pace with airy chord progressions, wind instrument melodies, rolling congas and swinging percussion. As the album unfolds, ‘Running Girl’ captures the spirit of classic House via warm piano chords, organ flourishes and intricately woven vocal arrangements. ‘Senior Dancer’ lowers the tempo and ventures deeper, where expansive dub chords and stripped-back drums drift around hypnotic spoken-word passages. Bringing the journey to a close, ‘Take It’ delivers a timeless Deep House finale, blending chopped vocal hooks, smooth strings, emotive piano motifs and subtle brass touches.
